Eagles News 23 October

Alien encounters have taken over our lessons this week! The children have written amazing diaries as if they were aliens landing on Earth for the first time. They focused on using adverbials to make the writing more exciting. Some children even used photo editing software to create their own U.F.O. hoax pictures!

In Maths we have been focusing on dividing three and four-digit numbers by two-digit numbers and multiplying and dividing by 10,100 and 1000. Creating our own planet, complete with names, was our Science objective this week. The children had to decide whether the planet was rocky or had a gas atmosphere and whether anything could live on it. There were some fantastic creations!
