School Uniform

School uniform promotes a sense of pride and belonging. We encourage all children to wear the simple uniform.

Please note: All clothing must be clearly marked with your child's name.

  • Grey skirt or trousers
  • Blue and white checked dress or grey shorts in the summer term
  • White shirt or polo shirt
  • Navy sweatshirt or navy cardigan
  • Sensible black shoes (not trainers)
  • Grey or black socks
  • Children with long hair which falls across their face are asked to wear either a hair band or hair slides or to tie it back.
  • Hair accessories should be subtle and inline with our school colours.

PE & Games Kit

For reasons of safety and personal hygiene, we require our children to have a navy t-shirt (a school t-shirt is available online from School Trends or My Clothing), navy shorts and trainers, together with a long-sleeved sweatshirt and tracksuit bottoms or leggings (during colder months).

Swimming starts in the summer term as soon as the water temperature reaches 23°C. Each child is required to have a one-piece bathing suit, swimming cap, towel and a plastic bag to store the kit. The use of any toiletries afterwards is discouraged for safety reasons.

We discourage the wearing of jewellery for two reasons. Firstly, it can be dangerous when worn during PE, games, swimming and playtime, not only for the wearer but also other children. Secondly, when removed for physical activities, it is easily lost or misplaced. The school staff cannot take responsibility for children's jewellery.

Please see our uniform policy for further details. This can be found underneath the School Information tab/Policies.
