Kestrels February Learning Gallery

Week 5-  1st - 4th February

During their RE topic 'Caring for others' the children have been learning about stories showing acts of kindness and sacrifice for others from different faiths. This week they have been acting out the Islamic story of 'Be our guest' to understand what it means to make sacrifices for others.

Week 6- 7th - 11th February

In their maths work the Kestrels have been using the ipads to consolidate their place value learning so far. They also made posters in PSHE to show how important it is to catch it, bin it, kill it. 

Week 7- 14th - 18th February

The Kestrels have thoroughly enjoyed learning about the disgisting sandwich this month. They even had a go at following instructions to make a disgusting sandwich just like in the story. Finishing off our Geography topic on Kenya in Africa the children have really enjoyed looking at some Kenyan artifacts including a Masai spear!
