During the Autumn 2 term, Hawks pupils enjoyed a wide range of engaging learning experiences. In History, the children learned about Ancient Greece, developing their understanding of daily life, beliefs and the significance of this ancient civilisation. In Design Technology, they designed, made and evaluated their own bread, applying practical skills and reflecting thoughtfully on their outcomes. In Science, pupils explored the topic of sound, investigating how sounds are made and how pitch and volume can change through hands-on experiments.

Learning beyond the classroom was an important part of the term. The children thoroughly enjoyed their visit to RSPB Arne, where they learned about habitats and wildlife, and they also took part in regular Forest School sessions throughout the autumn term, developing confidence, teamwork and outdoor skills. The term ended on a festive note with Christmas activities and a whole school panto trip to Weymouth, providing a memorable conclusion to a successful term.
