A very Christmassy week in Owls

We have had a very busy week in Owls.  On Monday we had a 'Fire' forest school session.  We learned about fire safety, how to build and start a fire.  We then toasted marshmallows on the camp fire....yum!

We enjoyed performing our Nativity play this week infront of the rest of the school.  We are sure you will agree that we look fantastic in our costumes!

On Thursday we went to Kingston Lacy to do the Percy the Park Keeper trail.  We had a fantastic day and Percy worked us very hard!

In the classroom we have had lots of Christmassy fun this week. We have decorated different types of Christmas trees, made biscuits with Christmas scented glittery playdough, made candy canes with pipe cleaners and beads, played in our Elf Workshop role play and made Christmas decorations.  We have been learning the Nativity story and have acted it out with our nativity set on our small world table. 

It certainly is starting to feel a lot like Christmas!
