Welcome to our learning gallery for October

It will give you an insight into what Kestrels have been learning about in October.

Week Five- 3rd- 7th October

This week the children planned an investigation in Science to test the best building materials based on the story The Three Little Pigs. They tested straw, sticks and bricks by try to build houses with them before the Big Bad Wolf came to blow them down!

Week  Six- 10th- 14th October

In our English lesson we have been exploring the dilemma faced by the Robot character in our story. We role played a 'conscience alley' before the children wrote persuasive letters to the Robot either convincing him to stop or carry on on his journey and explaining why.
