Kestrels visit to Shire Hall Courthouse Museum

Class: Years 1 & 2 (Kestrels) Year: 2023 - 2024

On Thursday 16th November, Kestrels visited the Shire Hall Courthouse Museum to find out more about the Gunpowder plot. They learnt about what life would have been like in the 1600s, acted out the story of the gunpowder plot including a courtroom scene and putting Guy Fawkes in prison! They also had a go at writing with an ink and quill and making 17th century peg dolls.
