Hawks trip to Arne
Class: Years 3 & 4 (Hawks) Year: 2025 - 2026
Today, Hawks Class enjoyed a fantastic day out at the RSPB Nature Reserve in Arne! The children had an amazing time exploring the beautiful surroundings and discovering more about the incredible wildlife that lives there.
Our day began with a bug hunt, where the children searched high and low for minibeasts hiding under logs, in the grass, and around the trees. They were thrilled to find beetles, woodlice and worms.
Next, we learned all about the different species of animals that call Arne home, from tiny insects to the famous sika deer and a wide variety of birds. The children asked thoughtful questions and shared what they already knew about habitats and food chains.
It was a wonderful trip full of learning, adventure, and appreciation for nature. Well done, Hawks Class — you were brilliant ambassadors for our school!
