Kingston Lacy Percy the Park Keeper Trip
We have had an amazing day on Thursday! We went to Kingston Lacy and completed the Percy the Park Keeper trail. Percy worked us very hard with so many different winter jobs to do! He wanted us to rake up the leaves to tidy the park; create winter shelters for his hibernating animals; put out food for animals and study footprint trails. We have also explored nature in lots of different ways e.g. testing the direction of the wind with our tongues; leaning back and looking up at the trees, clouds and sky; hugging trees and many many more. The children loved Percy’s hut and seeing where he sleeps, makes a cup of tea and dries his socks by the fire! The weather was very kind to us and the children were all fantastic! Well done Owls, what a great day!
