Dorset Fire Service visit Hazelbury Bryan
On Tuesday the Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service sent Jon to visit our school to teach us all about the dangers of fire and how to keep safe. They learn some rhymes and sayings to help them remember such as:
Get out, stay out, call 999!
Sniff, sniff, sniff, beep, beep, beep
test your smoke alarm once a week!
Matches, lighters never touch
they can hurt you very much!
We were very lucky because as well as visiting everyone's classes for a lesson he also gave the children a super assembly about how to stay safe around fireworks, bonfires and candles at Halloween.
