Throughout the spring term, a team of 14 Eagles has been taking part in orienteering events at various schools in our local pyramid. Each week they have further developed their map reading skills and successfully navigated themselves around unfamiliar sites. They have been extremely enthusiastic and determined to challenge themselves. Well done to all that took part! You have all been amazing!

This week we hosted the very first orienteering event for our pyramid of schools. Wimborne Orienteering Club came out to run the event and train our participants up to ensure they were capable of following a map successfully. A very big thank you to them for all their hard work. After their training, the children were set off to independently follow a variety of different courses around the school. Everyone loved exploring the school grounds and seeing how quickly they could complete each course. Well done to all Eagles who took part! It was such a lovely event and fantastic to get our local schools altogether again for a sporting event. We look forward to the next one!
