World Book Day
We had such a fun day on Thursday 7th March sharing our love of books. It was lovely to see the children dressed up as their favourite characters and/or talk about their favourite author/book. We hope you enjoy selecting a book with your child with the vouchers sent home. We look forward to our prize draw for our Reading a Rainbow competition that your child also came home with. Winners will receive a book of their choice. The children also enjoyed mixing with other classes to explore their stories as well as sharing their own.
Our World Book Day Costume winners:
Atticus for a super homemade Paddington Bear costume. Atticus also helped to create the suitcase. Runner up: Zachary for a fab homemade Winnie the Pooh outfit, complete with a pot of honey.
Harriet looked amazing as Fern from Charlotte’s Web, complete with Wilbur the pig and Charlotte!
Rollo for his Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III costume. A lot of effort had been put into the creation of Rollo’s costume.
Amelia. M looked fab as Luna Lovegood and made her own accessories, including funky glasses. Runner up: William who was a fab billionaire boy and even had his own ‘bumfresh’ loo roll!
Keep reading everyone. We all love books so remember to find time to "read your way."
