The King's Coronation!

The children thoroughly enjoyed having a range of different activities to celebrate the King’s coronation. We had activities out throughout the week and then all day on Friday as well as our tea party. The children looked amazing in their red, white and blue. Some of the activities the children took part in were making a carriage with King Charles in, finding words on British flags in our British coloured rice and reading them, decorating royal crowns, royal word bingo, construction play making carriages, cutting and collaging King Charles’ head, making crowns, playing with our royal small world and drawing carriages on the interactive whiteboard. The PTFA threw an amazing afternoon tea party in the hall on Friday and the children had the best time. A big thank you to the PTFA for all of their help and support with a memorable afternoon.
