Summer Term in Eagles

What a fantastic Summer Term we have had in Year 5/6! We enjoyed swimming lessons, improving our confidence and technique in the pool, and had great fun taking part in Sports Day. The Colour Run and Boogie Bounce brought lots of energy, laughter and colourful memories, while in DT we developed our cooking skills and created some delicious dishes. In Science, we explored light in a variety of ways, investigating how it travels and how shadows are formed. In Computing, we coded Micro:bits to respond to light and movement, creating projects such as light sensors, step counters and movement-activated displays. Year 6 also enjoyed an exciting watersports trip to Rockley, where they challenged themselves and created lasting memories. To top it all off, we worked incredibly hard on our production of Ye-Ha! and were proud to perform it for our families. It has been a term full of fun, learning and unforgettable experiences!
