School update
Date: 13th Oct 2021 @ 9:12am
Good morning everyone,
What a busy start to the new academic year we have had. I hope the children have been enjoying their new classrooms as much as we have. We have been working hard to make our environment fun and interesting and there is a lot of new things around to see.
The children have been working so hard already and are a credit to their families
Unfortunately, we were struck with COVID but it is lovely to now see everyone back at school fit and well.
Our new daily mile is being enjoyed by all, including myself, and Forest Schoool is back on.
We have held Minfulness and Dodge Ball clubs this half term. The teachers are currently thinking about what to offer for the children next half term and our Sports Ambassadors have lots of ideas too.
It was lovely going to church on Friday to celebrate Harvest and learn all about the farmers and their crops. We have collected food to share with the local foodbank for others.
We cannot wait for our Halloween fancy dress day and dico next Friday, photographs to follow, and we are delighted to be able to take Year 5 and 6 to Leeson House next half term.
Take care
Mrs Waring
