Owls Trip to Kingston Lacy

Wow, what a fab day! Owls class were amazing. They enjoyed walking around the grounds of Kingston Lacy and were polite and respectful of other visitors as well. We discussed Autumn and looked at the different coloured leaves and also talked about what has happened to them. We found different shaped leaves and used words/phrases such as, long, short, wide, narrow, pointy, like a hand print and huge. We then walked to the new park situated in the kitchen garden and wow! The park was amazing and perfect for children of this age. They were so happy climbing, jumping, running, sliding and balancing on all of the equipment. They were engaging with each other, taking on challenges and exploring in various different ways. Thank you Owls for such a fantastic trip, you really are all superstars!
