Our new academic year

Welcome back to all of our wonderful familes.

A special welcome to new members of staff and children who have joined us this year from far and wide: Mr Williams, Mrs Prop, Rollo, Lucy, Cianna and Kheilan. We also welcome our lovely new Reception class: Harriet, Frankie, Tilly, William, Theo, Archie, Adeline, Marlow, Sophie, Dex and Poppy. I am super proud of you all already.

It has been lovely hearing all about the special time that you have spent with your loved ones over the summer.

We have already had a PTFA meeting to discuss fund raising ideas for the year ahead, prepared our first Governor's meeting, met our new priest (Reverend Chris Jervis), had two training days, Mrs Erringtom has embarked on her Forest School training, Miss Allen has planned sporting events for our pyramid of schools, School Based Tutoring is planned with Miss Bailey and we have started Forest School. It is a shame that we have had to close the pool in preparation for Autumn but we have already planned a new pool cover and additional facilities for next year. 

Today we attended a beautiful service at church in memory of The Queen. We are currently gathering items, creating pieces of writing and producing artwork to celebrate The Queen's life. We are also creating a school display and creating a book of Condolences. Mrs Odhams and Mrs Young are making their way to London this evening to pay their respect.

I am looking forward ot the year ahead, working together and watching your children grow.
