Merry Christmas
Date: 20th Dec 2024 @ 8:26am
I cannot beleive we draw to the end of 2024, what another fanatasic term we have had at Hazelbury. Owls had an enjotyable trip to Kingston Lacey, whilst Hawks had lots of fun reinacting a Stone Age Day here at school.
We celebrated Children in Need and Mental Health Week, as well as holding our annual SCARF workshop. The whole school went to watch Peter Pan, thanks to our wonderful PTFA
We had a Christmas Fayre, Jumble Sale, Christmas Bingo and Halloween Disco all raising money for our children. Our Harvest Festival in Church is always lovely, as we welcome our families and donate food to those less fortunate than ourselves.
We ended the term with a phenomenal Nativity (The Sleepy Shepherd) and enojoyed our Christmas Church Service. With a Christmas Party Day and Christmas Jumper Day we feel very festive.
Durdle Door and Sturminster Mill won our first House Point competition and gained a non uniform day.
Thank you to staff for providing a Baking, Football and Art after school club.
We took part in our first Davidson Cup match which saw us win to get through to the next round.
We have worked with Prime Sports and oragnised an after school lacrosse club
Year 6 competed weekly orienteering events at and against our pyramid schools and they attended Gillingham Secondary School for Sports leaders training.
Now that is a rap and we wish you all a wonderful Christmas with your loved ones.
