A Wonderful and Busy Term at Hazelbury Bryan
As we come to the end of this term, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on what a truly busy and wonderful few months it has been at Hazelbury Bryan Primary School.
First and foremost, thank you to all our families for your continued support—it makes such a difference. I am incredibly proud of our amazing, dedicated staff who work tirelessly to provide the very best for our children, and of course, our wonderful pupils, who show compassion, kindness, and a love of learning every single day.
This term has been packed with exciting experiences and memorable moments. Just to name a few:
- The whole school enjoyed a fantastic trip to the panto to watch Jack and the Beanstalk.
- Year 2’s Friday afternoon run has been a highlight for many!
- We celebrated together at our Christmas Bingo and held beautiful services at the church for both Harvest and Christmas.
- Our choir represented the school brilliantly at Make Stur Sparkle.
- Owls and Hawks had enriching trips to Kingston Lacey and Arne, while Eagles loved their residential at Leeson House.
- Every class benefited from the SCARF workshop, supporting wellbeing and personal development.
Our PTFA has been wonderfully supportive, raising valuable funds for the school—thank you for all you do!
It has truly been a term full of learning, laughter, and community spirit. Wishing you all a joyful and restful Christmas break.
Best wishes,
Mrs Waring
