Kestrels December Learning Gallery
Date: 2nd Dec 2021 @ 9:52pm
Our twelfth week - 29th November- 3rd December
The Kestrels were lucky enough to go on a trip to the Shire Hall Courthouse Museum in Dorchester to find out more about Guy Fawkes and the gunpowder plot. They learnt about life in Dorset in the 1600's, how the gun powder was moved underneath the Houses of Parliament extremely carefully and how they were put on trial and treated in court. They even had the chance to make peg dolls and write with pen and ink.
In English, Kestrels had a criminal in their classroom. They looked at the evidence and questioned witnesses before predicting who must of made a mess in our classroom. They also made WARNING posters and stuck them up around the school!
Our Final weeks in December!
We made carrot soup and a cheeky elf came to visit us!
