End of Term Reflections

As we reach the end of another wonderful school year, it’s the perfect time to pause and reflect on the joyful moments, achievements, and sense of community that have made this term so special.

A Huge Well Done!

A huge well done to all our Key Stage 2 children for their fantastic performance of Pirates of the Curry Bean! Their enthusiasm, teamwork and sheer talent shone through, creating a memorable production for everyone lucky enough to watch. The children should feel incredibly proud of what they achieved — it was a true highlight of the term.

Sports Day Fun

Our Sports Day was another huge success, with sunshine, smiles and lots of brilliant teamwork on display. Thank you to all the families who came along to cheer the children on — your encouragement and support makes such a difference and creates those lovely memories for our pupils.

Goodbye to Year 6

This week, we say a fond farewell to our wonderful Year 6 children. It has been a privilege to watch them grow into such kind, confident individuals. They leave us ready to embrace their next adventure at secondary school, and we wish them every happiness and success for the future.

Welcome to New Families

We’re already looking ahead to September, when we’ll be welcoming our new Reception children and their families into our school community. We’re so excited to get to know you and to begin this new chapter together. A special welcome also to those families joining us in other year groups — thank you for choosing Hazelbury as the next step in your child’s journey.

Thank You to Our School Community

As always, a heartfelt thank you to all our families, friends and volunteers who have supported the school throughout the year. Whether you’ve given your time, cheered from the sidelines, helped at events, or offered kind words — your support means the world to us and makes Hazelbury the special place it is.

Staff Farewells and Welcomes

This term, we say a very sad goodbye to two much-loved members of staff, Mrs Odhams and Mrs Prop. They have been an integral part of our school family, and we’ll miss them enormously. We thank them for everything they have given to the children and the school and wish them every happiness in the next chapter of their lives.

At the same time, we are delighted to welcome Mrs Mizzi, who will be joining us in September as a class teacher. We look forward to her becoming part of our team and know she will bring wonderful energy and enthusiasm.
