Dorset History Centre - School Log Books

We are delighted to say that our school log books, dating back to when the school first started, can now be found in the Dorchester History Centre. Log books are a history of a school where daily records were kept by the headmaster, they show fascinating details of day-to-day school life such as the discipline of when a child had the cane!

The centre was delighted to receive this piece of history and we hope that they will be on display shortly for everyone to see and learn from, rather than sitting collecting dust in a cupboard within the school.
