Autumn term…

Thank you for another wonderful term. As well as our day to day teaching and learning, this term:

We have welcomed new families to our school and nursery, enjoyed Pound Fitness with Hayley, worked with Premier Sports to deliver Fencing, Archery and Gymnastics, worked towards bronze boxing certificates with Sean from Sturminster Newton Amateur Boxing Club, delivered our own netball, rugby, football and lego clubs (thank you to Miss Allen, Mr Williams and Mrs Sedgbeer for organising these), Eagles have enjoying taking part in Orienteering with our pyramid of schools, Hawks enjoyed a weekly run with Mr Williams and Mrs Waring, Mrs Errington has started our very own Forest School, the governors and I are continuing to pursue our car park plans, thanks you to Reverend Jervis for our lovely Harvest and Christmas services,  Eyfs and Kestrels shone during our Wriggly Nativity, we had a beautiful remembrance service, Owls enjoyed a trip to Kingston Lacey, Kestrels learned about Guy Fawkes at the CourtHouse, Hawks had a great time at Lulworth Education Centre and Year 5 had lots of fun at Leeson House. Thank you to our PTFA for very generously supporting the cost of our school trips. We raised lots of money for our children with a Bags2School Collection, Halloween Disco, Christmas Fayre and Wreath making class. Thank you to our very supportive and compassionate families and thank you to our committed, dedicated and loving school staff, governors and PTFA. We are really looking forward to our Spring term and sharing even more with you.
