Autumn 1

I cannot believe we are nearly at the end of Autumn 1 already, and the sun is still shining in October! 

What a productive, fun and collaborative half term we have had. 

Our school permeates Courage, Compassion, Resilience and Responsibility. 

Here are some highlights from the term so far...

We have embarked on our own Forest School being led by Mrs Errington who is now responsible for teaching this throughout the school. 

All children experienced a SCARF workshop with Corum Education. 

We have delivered Boxing, Rugby and Board Games clubs every week. The children have developed resilience through these clubs in many ways.  

All children have loved Pound Fitness with Hayley every Friday. 

We celebrated World Mental Health Day with an assembly and activties throughout the day that promoted awareness of mental health. 

All parents were invited to an RSHE workshop. 

Our first Church service this year was beautiful, thank you for joining us to celebrate Harvest and for your generous donations that will be distributed to the Vale Pantry in Sturminster Newton. Thank you to Reverend Jervis for a lovely Service. 

Our Scholastic Book Fair was a great success. 

Hazelbury Race Day was so much fun. Well done everyone! 

We are looking forward to next term where each class is going on a school trip, supported by our very generous PTFA.

Everyone is looking to the Christmas Pantomime, also funded by our compassionate PTFA. 

We are looking forward to our Halloween Disco. A dash of courage may be required to attend!
